An Electronic Payments Specialist must have a good combination of analytical and communication skills as well as the ability to adapt to a constantly evolving industry. Looking for a natural leader who is detail oriented, proactive, and has excellent problem-solving skills.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

• Responds to Inquiries related to debit card processing and disputes
• Process debit card requests including issue resolution, card orders, and limit changes
• Thoroughly investigate and process debit card disputes
• Reconcile EFT general ledger daily
• Create and mail cards as needed
• Perform general card maintenance
• Stay current on policies, procedures, rules, and regulations related to card services
• Assist with account maintenance requests
• Assist with processing electronic payments
• Assist with projects and application updates
• Work with bank staff and customers
• Assist with application testing and training
• Other duties as assigned
• Ensures compliance with all applicable company policies and banking regulations

Skills and Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent, college preferred
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills; anticipate and plan ahead
• Proven ability to plan, manage budgets, and prioritize multiple projects
• Receptive to vision, direction, and constructive criticism from peers and leadership
• No visible tattoos or body piercings except conservative ear piercings
• Must meet minimum credit standards and pass a criminal background check. (Only applicants that have consented to a background and credit check will be considered.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding of VISA rules/disputes
• Debit card operations experience
