With more than 25 years of financial management experience across a variety of industries, Robert Bruce serves as Vista Bank’s Chief Financial Officer. Overseeing the overall direction and planning for all accounting and internal financial operations and functions of the Company, he works closely with the CEO and Board of Directors in the planning and achieving of strategic enterprise initiatives including mergers, acquisitions and capital raising efforts.
Prior to joining Vista Bank, Robert served as the Chief Accounting Officer at a financial institution that grew from $450 million to $2.5 billion during his five-year tenure. Since joining Vista Bank in April of 2017, the institution has grown from $444 million to $920 million.
Robert received his Masters of Accounting from UT Dallas and is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Information Systems Auditor. He and his wife, Cynthia, reside in Dallas and have a daughter and a son who both attend J.J. Pearce High School.
