Lubbock D. Smith III serves as President of the South Dallas Market at Vista Bank, leading the South Dallas Banking Center with a focus on relationship-driven banking, small business lending, community reinvestment, and financial literacy. A native of Oak Cliff and resident of South Dallas, he brings more than a decade of experience in business development, educational programming, and community outreach.

An entrepreneur at heart, Lubbock is passionate about expanding access to capital and creating pathways for small businesses to grow and thrive. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a master’s degree in Higher Education from the University of Kansas and is a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at SMU. He has been recognized as a Dallas Business Journal “40 Under 40” honoree, D CEO Magazine’s Dallas 500 honoree, and serves on the boards of the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce and Fair Park First.
