Cathy Landtroop

With over 20 years of experience driving revenue through brand elevation, thought leadership, and strategic growth initiatives, Cathy Landtroop serves as Vista Bank’s Chief Marketing and Communications Officer. Landtroop works closely with the CEO and Board of Directors in planning and achieving strategic enterprise initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, footprint expansion, and brand elevation.

Overseeing all Bank communications, Landtroop grew the Vista brand during the recent pandemic, garnering front-page stories in the Dallas Morning News, Wall Street Journal, Business Insider, as well as an interview on CNBC.

Since joining Vista Bank in March 2018 and focusing on results-driven traditional, digital, and earned media, the institution has grown from $685 million to $1.9 billion.

Before the Bank, Landtroop founded, led, and sold the portfolio of respected media and PR firm Landtroop Strategies. Under her leadership, the firm represented multiple financial institutions, one of the world’s leading global energy companies, the Republic of South Sudan’s quest for a peaceful transfer of power, a candidate running for MP in Kenya, Super PACs for two American Presidential candidates, and over a million young lemonade stand entrepreneurs, all while fundraising for an orphanage in Luoyang, China.
